Strategic Planning


Strategic planning supports companies in the process of defining its direction and making decisions to meet those short- and long-term goals. WI offers facilitated strategic planning sessions. 

Benefits to strategic planning sessions:

The strategic planning process includes: 

  • Gather inputs – Conduct a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis. 
  • Identify and agree on the organizations vision, mission, and values.
  • Identify strategic priorities that align with the vision, mission, and values. 
  • Develop goals, strategies, and tactics to meet those priorities. 
  • Create a communication and action plan. 

WI as a facilitator are: 

  • Allows everyone to participate. 
  • Trained to ask the right questions to drill down to the root of the issue. 
  • Neutral to the decisions allowing participants to have powerful discussions. 
  • Keep participants on task which can be a challenge if management is leading the session. 
  • Trained to ensure communication lines are open for everyone.
